Dr. Bruce Banner is a brilliant nuclear physicist who was contaminated by gamma radiation during the test of a gamma bomb. Since then when under emotional tension he transforms into the incredible Hulk, a short brained green-skinned unstoppable muscle packet driven by emotions.

The Hulk is certainly one of the best-known heroes of the Marvel Universe, already in 1978 a still charming TV series was produced in which Dr. Banner was played by Bill Bixby and the Hulk by the green-painted bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno. Currently, we see the Hulk mostly fighting alongside his Avengers colleagues about the fate of the Earth, while adaptions of the very successful mini-series Planet Hulk and World War Hulk are planned.
