Kongou Kai Ni - SQ figure

The beautiful Kongou from Kantai Collection is a ship of the Kongou-class. Those ships were built before World War I, and Kongou was the last to be constructed outside Japan. After 1930 she and her sister ships all got a makeover and were modified to reach a speed over 30 knots, which is 56km/h or 35mph. That makes Kongou a fast Battleship.

She wears a variation of a Miko dress with high boots, and her head ornament are radar antennae. Because she was built in England, she can speak English and likes tea. She adores the admiral, always trying to win his heart.

While the Kantai Collection girls are presented with their armor or ships most of the time, this Kongou sits on a bench and seems to enjoy her free time. Her face looks friendly, although she usually shows a determined expression.
