You think you know a famous picture and then this! The figmas of the series “The Table Museum“ are based on famous artworks, and here Freeing presents us “The Scream“. At least the title belonging to this picture should be well known, maybe from school or a site with art on the internet. But who would have thought that so much mischief is possible with such a simple figure! The figma consists of the background picture and a movable figure of the screaming person in the foreground. For this one there are only a few pairs of alternate hands included, but they are enough to display it in several funny postures! This turns art lessons into a pleasure!

Here a few useful pieces of information: The Norwegian painter Edvard Munch has created four almost identical pictures between 1893 and 1910, all entitled “The Scream”. There are also some lithographs. They are kept in different museums, one is in private hands. “The Scream” belongs to the most famous paintings of all times and is regarded as an expressionistic masterpiece. Munch wanted to express the feelings of fear he suddenly felt when he was on the road with two friends one evening and saw a scene with a red sky like the one he painted later. In his diary he claims he heard “the scream of nature” in that moment.
